Refund Policy

Effective Date: March 29, 2025

At Bell & Hammer Construction, we stand behind the quality of our work, our materials, and our service delivery. Due to the nature of construction services — which often involve custom work, material ordering, permitting, and subcontractor scheduling — we maintain the following refund policy to protect both our clients and our operations.

Deposits & Advance Payments

Any deposits made toward scheduled work, including materials, mobilization, or permits, are non-refundable once resources have been allocated or work has commenced. This includes:

Material procurement
Jobsite prep or mobilization
Subcontractor scheduling
Permit application fees
Insurance coordination or documentation

In cases where no work has been performed and no costs incurred, refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Cancelled Projects

If a project is cancelled by the client before work has started, we may refund any unused portion of your deposit, less any administrative or planning costs already incurred.

If a project is cancelled after work has begun, a partial refund is not guaranteed. Costs already committed (including labor, materials, and third-party services) are non-refundable.

Unsatisfactory Work or Disputes

If you are unsatisfied with the service provided, please contact us immediately at admin@bellnhammer.biz or call (360) 710-0409. We are committed to addressing concerns promptly and will:

Review the scope of work agreed upon
Perform a reinspection, if appropriate
Offer reasonable remedies in accordance with the service agreement

Refunds are not offered in place of repair or remediation unless required by law or contract.

Insurance-Related Projects

For projects funded by insurance claims, all billing, scope, and change orders must comply with the terms of your claim. Refunds are not issued once insurance proceeds are received and allocated toward completed work.

Discretionary Refunds

In rare circumstances, Bell & Hammer Construction may issue a refund outside the scope of this policy at our sole discretion. Such decisions are final and non-precedent-setting.
